As we expand our operations and open a new warehouse in Wales, we are looking for a skilled and passionate Dispatch and Support Technician to ensure we continue to deliver top quality bikes, components and support to customers.
Role Overview:
Early Rider Ltd are looking for a proactive Dispatch & Support Technician to join our dynamic team at our new warehouse in Wales. You will play a pivotal part in supporting daily operations by providing friendly & effective technical support to customers and inspecting bikes to ensure quality delivery to customers: ensuring all bikes meet our exceptional quality and safety standards before they are shipped out to customers. You will work closely with the warehouse team to prepare components for shipping and manage stock to maintain an organized, efficient warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:

Order preparation and Quality Control: Pre-delivery inspection of bicycles and parts to ensure all parts are fitted correctly and safely. Perform thorough quality checks to ensure each bike meets Early Rider's high standards.

Customer Support: Assist with customer technical queries via email, telephone and live chat. Provide advice on product features, product choice, assembly, bike care and maintenance.

Warehouse operations: Collaborate with the team to effectively manage the stock and maintain an organized, safe warehouse.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the warehouse, ensuring that the working environment is safe for all employees.

Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to current processes and work practices, focusing on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in bicycle assembly, repair, and maintenance.

Customer service experience. Ability to handle customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.

Strong knowledge of bicycle mechanics, including the ability to diagnose and fix common mechanical problems.

Experience with a variety of bicycle types, and a willingness to learn the specifics of our children's bikes.

Willingness to learn how to use customer support and shipping software platforms.

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

A passion for bicycles and cycling, with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

A proactive and solution-focused attitude, able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.

Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is a plus.
Qualifications:

A relevant qualification in bicycle mechanics or a similar technical field is desirable but not essential.

Full UK driving license preferred.
