125 Bikes. One mission: More Kids Riding.
If you bought a bike from us in November, thank you.
Because of your support, 125 balance bikes have been donated to nurseries, schools, charities and community organisations across the UK, getting kids riding that might not otherwise get the chance.
Why Does Riding Matter?
For a child, a bike is much more than a bike.
Riding develops balance, coordination, decision making and risk assessing. It progresses their development physically, cognitively and socially - helping establish healthy habits and build strength, communication, confidence and independence. It's often their first taste of adventure, and a skill that stays with them for life.
"As well as giving them a great opportunity to spend more time outdoors, cycling helps build gross motor skills, physical endurance and gives the children a sense of independence." - Cummings Park Nursery
“The bikes encourage social interaction, turn-taking, and cooperative play, helping children to develop important communication and social skills.” - Cockburnspath Primary School
Not Every Child Gets the Same Opportunity
While cycling offers so many benefits, access isn't equal. Many children don't have a bike at home or access to safe places to ride.
That's why, this spring, we partnered with organisations across the UK working to make cycling more accessible for young children.
"Many of our children don't have access to bikes at home, so providing these bikes gives every child - regardless of background - access to the freedom, joy and confidence that comes from riding early." - Priorsford Nursery

The More Kids Ride Initiative
In November 2025, instead of joining the Black Friday sales rush, we launched our More Kids Ride Initiative.
For every bike sold throughout November, we donated 5% to the More Kids Ride Fund, helping us put balance bikes directly into the hands of organisations creating opportunities for children.
The result? 125 bikes donated to community groups, charities and early years settings where they'll make a genuine difference.
These bikes are now supporting children from low-income families, refugee communities, and vulnerable backgrounds. They're helping charities working with families affected by hardship and giving toddlers their very first experience on two wheels.
"These balance bikes make a huge difference to the children and families we support, particularly those from low-income, refugee and more vulnerable backgrounds who may not otherwise have access to opportunities like this." - Your Love Rara Charity

Creating Lasting Impact
Built to last, these bikes will be shared, reused and passed down for years to come - helping hundreds more children develop confidence, skills and a lifelong love of riding.
Since our foundation in 2005, our mission has been simple: get more kids outdoors, moving, exploring and growing in confidence and skills. We strive to give them the best tools to progress their learning, spark a sense of adventure, and connect with the world and people around them.
We are proud to support the organisations making that happen every day - and grateful to everyone who helped make this initiative possible.
Together, we're helping create a future where every child gets the chance to ride.
More Kids Ride.
And we're just getting started.
“They have quickly become one of the children's favourite outdoor resources and are used enthusiastically every day! We look forward to seeing improvements in our children's physical development, as well as their willingness to take on new challenges, build resilience and important communication and social skills. We are delighted to see the enjoyment, confidence, and skill development the balance bikes have brought.” - Cockburnspath Primary School
