A beautifully crafted, hard as nails disc brake frame set
The Seeker 24 is light and responsive thanks to the 6061-grade aluminium we spec all our bikes with. While the sliding dropouts give youth riders adaptable handling as they progress.
160mm hydraulic disc brakes give them the stopping power they can trust when the trail gets technical.
Simple, safe reliable, a drive train they can trust
The rear derailleur clutch keeps the chain firmly in place, preventing chain slap damaging the frame. Coupled with the top rated Samox chainset and super secure 152/30 tooth narrow wide chain, their chain isn’t going anywhere, even if they decide to go off piste.
Planted, confident and room to move
As they start to tackle technical trails, our optimised geometry allows them to move with, and around the bike - edging forward as the trail ticks up, and leaning back as they descend.
The ride feels planted and confident with room to manoeuvre.
MTB wheels that go hard
The sealed bearings keep mud, water and corrosion at bay while double wall rims give you twice the confidence on rocks and roots.
The optimised spoke count means you won’t have to worry about buckled wheels while quick release axles makes the rare times you do need to swap tyres a breeze.
Touchpoints that elevate control
The SDG junior fly saddle rails and quick release seat clamp allow you to dial in their ride position, something that’s vital as they progress and grow.
You’ll also find Richey’s brilliant double butted, lightweight aluminium bars on all our Seekers.
Ritchey Logic have been at the forefront of component design for the past 50 years. We’ve collaborated with them for over a decade, producing some of the best age specific components to ever grace a kids’ bike.
Light, powerful hydraulic disk brakes
The brake levers feature a lightweight, and most importantly, adjustable action to accommodate growing hands.
We also made the decision to replace the brake fluid with mineral oil. It’s less corrosive and a bit kinder on the environment.

The Early Rider Seeker 24 is the the most impressive 24-inch kids’ bikes available today. Designed for riders around 7–11 years old (depending on height), it blends lightweight engineering with robust components, two-piston hydraulic brakes, big tire clearance, trail‑ready components with powerful gearing range for all terrain, and confidence‑boosting geometry into a bike that feels both playful and capable. It’s a top choice for families who want a bike that can handle everything - from school runs, neighborhood cruising to real off‑road adventures without compromise.
After putting real miles on it, the difference in confidence, control, and enthusiasm for my daughter is unmistakable. This bike proves its value not just on paper, but out on the road and trail. We’ve also cycled with the Early Rider Seeker 24 in snowy conditions, and it handled surprisingly well. Even with moderate snow on the ground, the wide tires and stable geometry gave plenty of grip and control for my 7 years old. Fully recommend this beast!
as good as the small ones
Very nice bike. It's like a 24" kona unit but in AL and very lighweight !
One thing bothers me: rims are tubeless compatible but not tires ... I struggle and lost (no compressor) to setup them tubeless. Brand new tires ... we'll keep them with a tube, a bit of a shame
Bike is easy to build, arrived earlier than expected, has good components & is sturdy yet light.
This is my fifth EarlyRider I highly recommend for young kids.
First off this is America where we have schrader valves and not Presta. I had no way to inflate the tires for Christmas morning. I live in the country and have limited resources nearby. I ordered adapters online from Amazon. Then I was disappointed to learn that there is no kickstand back to Amazon. Next my 8 year old athletic granddaughter could not stand the seat, her bottom was too sore to ride the next day. Back to Amazon, I purchased a Gel padded seat bike Saddle cushion that refused to stay in place. Back to Amazon to purchase a replacement comfort bike seat with memory foam, which is still held up due to severe weather in many parts of the country. Other than that it’s a perfect bicycle. She loves the bike and is patiently awaiting the new seat.

This bike is amazing. My daughter loves it! The spec and geometry give her confidence when riding off road. My only suggestion to improve the bike is thru axles - just make sure you do up the QR tight enough in the drop outs.
Excellent bike, but I had to assemble all parts manually, very annoying!
Das Velo ist wunderschön und fährt sich bestens.
Für mich als Laie ist das Zusammenbauen des Velos sehr schwierig, ich habe es dem Velohändler gebracht, was natürlich etwas kostete. Sehr schade, dass man dieEearlyrider nur noch online bestellen kann und die Velos nicht bei Fachhändlern gekauft werden kann.
Aber jetzt, zusammengebaut, hat das Kind grosse Freude am sehr coolen Velo.
The Seeker's strenghts are the transmission (wide gear range and very low granny gear). Living in a hilly area, it was the first time in my daughter's life that she could eventually absolve on the bike the usual climbs she used to hike-a-bike on her erlier bike. We/I also love the minimalist look of the raw aluminium with very modest branding and enjoy the results of the attention the bike was pre-assembled with (the derailleur works as a charm). Most obviously we appreciate the quality components, the Ritchey handlebar, the aluminium flat pedals, the brakes, shifter, derailleur.
I miss, however, some of the more contemporary stuff: thru-axles, tubeless-ready tyres (possibly of a European brand), a carbon fork, more eyelets for mounting bags e.g. on the fork, top-tube, down-tube (both sides), internal cable routing. Weight could also be decreased a bit.
I chose the Seeker 24 versus a competitor's similar bike of exactly the same price for two reasons: the large cassette range and the modest look (don't really want to show off). In almost all other aspects the competition's bike is better: weights less by 10%, has a carbon fork, thru-axles, slightly less aggressive geometry, tubeless-ready tyres (and rims). Don't misunderstand me: this is not a statement suggesting that hat the Seeker is not good enough. I just want to say that there's some room for improving an already very good bike.

Yea my 7 year on old son loving his seeker 24 ,that’s his 2nd early rider and he’s loving it
And he’s saying he love riding everyday and that his favourite bike in the world 😃
But the quality isn’t that good compare to the last early rider 16” he had I mean the finishing
brakes not setup correctly. extremely poor cabling as last time, that badly done that clamps holding cables are shooting away from frame on it own, rear deraileur does not shift. Missing clamps. Some were skipped, probably it was lunch time already. Filthy vaseline spots on frame.
My serviceman will be spending some hours again fixing this poor delivery, to say it politely. Last time he was really surprised what comes out to customer.
Bike arrived with derailleur that's bent and brake lever not properly attached. Also, the gear changing was not smooth. I contacted the customer service but no response. So we had to bring the bike to bike shop to get everything fit before we even give to my son for his birthday. No question it is a nice bike but customer service is questionable compared to competitors.

My 7-yr-old is riding this, and just loves it. He is a tad bit too short for it, but my husband switched the bike post with a shorter one. We are very happy that our son will have many years of great riding experiences with his bike! :D
Overall a great bike, my son is enjoying it more than his previous one, for reference he is 8 years old, average height and weight and comes from a 20 inch single speed.
Heads up, you are going to have to assemble the rear wheel and tune the derailleur, at this price point I would have expected for this to come pre-assembled.
Ok bike, our fifth from Early Rider, but quality has declined. Clips which were supposed to hold wires loosen easilly.
