Excellent look and smell

The new belt drive looks great, the color is classic but stylish black. The smell is discrete but unmistakeble if you smell from close by. At least I think so, I didn't try yet. The teeth are spaced regularly and their gentle roundness is balanced with a determined, yet safe, sharpness on the edges.

Seriously now; a review from a new belt drive would only make sense after, say, 20 000km.

The previous belt drive was cracked after a few thousand km. It hadn't broken completely. Perhaps bad luck, that can happen to even the best products. The only thing leaving no doubt was the excellent and quick warranty handling from Early Rider. My compliments for that.
