Early Rider Works Platform Pedal

Good upgrade to the plastic pedals that came on my sons Islabike Creig 20, which my son had started to slip off frequently. These are the same outer width from the face of the crank but are longer - which is good for my son now he's size 3 feet, less likely to roll the pedal under his foot. These have cast pins which also offer a good level of grip without aggressive separate sharp pins. The plastic islabike pedals did have moulded square grip 'pins' but the edges of these had smoothed enough to not offer much grip

The pedals are light, grippy but without overly agressive pins, have smooth bearings, and they are attractively priced. Looked around a lot, from my current view those are the best kids' bike pedals (cannot say sth. about durability yet).

These are great pedals if your kiddo is just riding pavement, but if they are venturing into the dirt, do them a favor and seek out a pedal with better grip.

Mega pedals. Had the first ones on the Belter 16 for the older daughter, she kept them for her next bike.

So I had a to get pair for the youngest, she overtook the belter and is so happy!

Early Rider sent this to me as a replacement for the Stock Metal pedals on the Belter 16. Great product

We got these to replace on a couple of my daughters bikes having had them on her Helion 20. They are the best pedals out there as far as we can see. Lots of grip, no sharp bits to shred shins, great bearings, 100% recommend.

functional, safe, robust but light and design

We bought these to replace a broken pedal on an older model early rider. Customer service was really helpful helping to understand what was right for us despite. It buying the original bike direct. These pedals are slightly larger than previous ones we’re so 6 year old son had to be careful when cornering as scraped on the ground. Great quality and easy to fit.
