Purpose of the MAP Policy

Early Rider is committed to maintaining the integrity of our brand, ensuring fair competition among our authorized retailers, and protecting the value of our high-quality products. This Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy applies to all Early Rider bicycles  and products sold in North America.

Policy Guidelines

1.      Minimum Advertised Price

Retailers may not advertise Early Rider products below the established MAP in any form, including but not limited to promotional discounts, coupon codes, rebates, or bundling that effectively reduces the advertised price below MAP.

1.     Applicability

This policy applies to all forms of advertising, including but not limited to:

•       Websites

•       Email marketing campaigns

•       Digital ads, including social media platforms

•       Print advertisements

Note: This policy does not dictate the price at which retailers may sell Early Rider products, only the advertised price.

2.      Sales Channels

•       Authorized retailers may sell Early Rider products in their physical stores and on their own branded online stores.

Retailers may not use tactics such as ‘click for price,’ ‘add to cart to see price,’ or similar methods to obscure pricing below MAP.

•       Retailers may not advertise or sell Early Rider products on third-party online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace) without explicit written authorization from Early Rider. This includes both direct listings and third-party fulfillment.

2.     Enforcement Measures

Early Rider will actively monitor advertised prices through regular online checks. Non-compliance with this policy will result in the following actions:

•       First Violation: Written notice and request for immediate correction.

•       Subsequent Violations: Suspension or termination of the retailer’s account, including the cessation of future product shipment

Retailers must correct a first-time MAP violation within 24 hours of notification. Repeated violations within a 12-month period may result in suspension or termination of the retailer’s account.

3.     Exceptions

No exceptions, promotions, or discounts below MAP pricing are allowed without prior written authorization from Early Rider.

4.     Communication of Policy

The MAP policy is publicly available on the Early Rider website and will be shared in all dealer communications.

5.     Authorized Retailers

Only authorized retailers approved by Early Rider are permitted to sell our products. Unauthorized retailers are not bound by this policy and may be subject to separate legal action.

This MAP policy is a unilateral policy set by Early Rider. It is not an agreement with any retailer, and Early Rider reserves the sole discretion to enforce or modify this policy at any time.

Acknowledgment of Policy

By advertising and selling Early Rider products, retailers agree to comply with this MAP policy. Early Rider reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time, with reasonable notice provided to all authorized retailers.
