New Year, New Barn
We’ve moved! A total of 50 metres over to our new Windmill Barn. But before we get to the snazzy barn, here's a bit of a backstory.
In 2012, Early Rider moved out of a garage into our first home – The Old Mill, located in the heart of Henley-on-Thames. Pictured here is ‘the Troopy’, a 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser owned by our founder Andy, outside The Old Mill.
Five years later in 2017, we moved to Hampstead Farm, Binfield Heath – a small village located a few miles outside of Henley-on-Thames.
Although this building was smaller, it signified the expansion of the buisness. Professional factories in China and Taiwan had been acquired. Bike building no longer took place in the UK.
Work on our latest digs started in 2020, finishing in 2021.
A two-month process of shuttling stock, tools and the odd blue cone over saw us finally settle into our new home; slightly larger than the garage we began in sixteen years ago. This additional space means we now have a proper kitchen. So why not swing by, grab a tea or coffee (whatever floats your boat) have a ride on our latest bikes, discuss any queries you may have or just come say hi and meet the team.
